Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Resource Center Family Crisis Resource Center Grief Support Network Serves: Frederick, Garrett & Washington Counties. Free support service for families of homicides in western Maryland. Offers emotional support, support groups, one on one contact. Attends trials with family and directs them to legal resources. Health Department Provides counseling, therapy and public education. Open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. House of Hope Juvenile Justice, Department of Provides case status information and monitors collections and disbursement of restitution in juvenile cases. Open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Legal Aid Bureau Provides legal services to qualifying low income individuals; offers referrals in civil suits only. Open 9:00 a.m. to Noon, Monday through Friday; 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Parole and Probation Social Services Provides child and adult protective services. Accepts and investigates reports of suspected child abuse. Provides services and referrals for abuse children, adults and their families.
