Eastern Correctional Institution Recognizes Outstanding Employees for the First Quarter of 2012
TOWSON, MD (April 12, 2012) - Warden Kathleen Green has named Sarah Bryant as Correctional Officer of the Quarter, Glen Hubbard as Employee of the Quarter and Lt. James White as Supervisor of the Quarter for their dedicated service to the Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI) during the first quarter of 2012.
Sarah Bryant, Correctional Officer II, used her knowledge and training in a recent emergency situation. She remained focused and relied upon her training, carrying out correct security and life-saving procedures. Officer Bryant exemplifies the demeanor, training and professionalism of a Correctional Officer.
Officer Bryant has been employed at ECI since August 2005.
Agency Buyer V Glen Hubbard’s work is always accurate and completed in a timely manner. In addition to learning all aspects of his position, he has developed additional spreadsheets to benefit the institution’s Procurement Office. He has also volunteered to assist with Commissary operations while remaining current with his regular responsibilities. His knowledge and willingness to help are definite assets to the entire institution.
Hubbard has been employed at ECI since February 23, 2011.
Lt. James White, Correctional Dietary Officer, ensures smooth procurement of food and supplies for the production of over a quarter of a million meals per month. His talents include obtaining the best possible cost and preparing unique meal events for the population. Lt. White shares his culinary talents with his church and at community catering events.
Lt. White has been employed at ECI since February 13, 2002.
ECI is located in Westover, Maryland, and houses approximately 2,700 medium and 600 minimum security inmates.
