Division of Correction Walk-Off Notification

Last seen: Inmate Denation Kent was scheduled to report for work at 10 am today. His work release employer called the Baltimore Prerelease Unit (BPRU) facility at 10:15am to report he had not yet reported to work, a site in Baltimore city approximate to Dundalk. Inmate Kent arrived at the site at approximately 11:30am. At 12:00pm BPRU custody staff reported to the site to investigate and take him into custody. Upon sighting BPRU staff, inmate Kent ran away. A correctional officer pursued but lost him. He was last seen heading north on Elrino Street, east of Broening Highway. At the time of the walk-off he was wearing gray pants, brown shoes, blue shirt, a black watch and silver sunglasses. BPRU staff notified the Baltimore City Police of the walk-off at approximately 12:05pm. Maryland State Police were notified as well.
