TOWSON, MD (December 15, 2010) – Maryland Correctional Adjustment Center (MCAC) staff donated enough toys and clothes to give gifts to five local needy families this year. The children will receive the gifts Friday during a holiday luncheon hosted at MCAC.

Media is invited for the Friday morning luncheon. Please RSVP to Erin Julius, above, and plan to arrive at the facility by 11 a.m. MCAC is located at 401 East Madison Street, Baltimore, Maryland. Friday’s event will be held in the roll call room, which is not inside a secure area.

This holiday luncheon has become an annual community outreach event for MCAC staff; this is the third year for the party.

“Right now, there is more need than ever in this community. The outpouring of generosity by MCAC staff every year warms my heart,” said Warden Robert Koppel.
